Mike Miller, CEO

Michael G. Miller is founder and CEO of OGOS Energy LLC, whose mission is to accelerate development of reliable and cost-effective renewable energy generation assets in order to meet demand, contribute to the sustainability of our natural environment, create beneficial regional economic activity, and reward our investors.  

In 2014, OGOS became the first minority-owned company ever to qualify with the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) to bid for offshore wind lease development rights in BOEM’s competitive auction program.  OGOS participated in the Maryland offshore lease auction and subsequently provided project development support within the offshore wind industry.  Doing business as SCS Maryland Energy, OGOS established a partnership with SCS Energy LLC, a company with gigawatt experience in construction of environmentally-friendly utility-scale electric generating facilities.  

OGOS has acted as development consultant for multiple procurements for utility-scale solar energy PPA's including Federal and private RFPs.  OGOS developed a proprietary renewable energy Project Finance & Budgeting model that has been exhaustively vetted by several investment banks and top-tier Engineering, Procurement & Construction firms.  Its analytical tool set provides OGOS and its strategic partners with a distinct competitive advantage for sourcing and completing green-field solar development projects.  

Michael Miller brought over twelve years of regulated utility holding company finance and strategic planning experience to OGOS, in addition to decades of hands-on success in commercial property development as an entrepreneur, investor and Fortune 100 real estate development executive.  Miller is a former Principal of the Arundel Group, providing business advisory services to venture-funded start-ups.  He was strategy consultant and Director of Financing at WGL Holdings.  Earlier, Mike was Senior Director at PepsiCo and Program Manager of Treasury Strategy at IBM.  Mike's volunteer Board service includes Annapolis Life Care / Ginger Cove, and past service on the Maryland Venture Fund Authority.  

Mike is a Yale University graduate with his MBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina.
